Organized labor is resurgent, restructured and has become a strategic ally for some leading companies. Changes in their organizing strategies, the internationalization of the labor movement and their strongest support in Washington since Jimmy Carter was president have contributed to a resurgence of the movement and two consecutive years of growth in representation numbers after years of decline. Richard Lehr of Lehr Middlebrooks & Vreeland will review the 'reorganized' labor movement and employer strategies for remaining union free.
